moneycorp API Links Global Payments Into ERP, Accounting Tools

moneycorp Americas, which is the moneycorp unit that serves the Americas, unveiled an application programming interface (API) “integration enhancement” that has the ability to loop into accounting and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, according to a Monday (June 21) announcement.

moneycorp lets its customer simplify payments using the new connection, thus conserving time and reshaping payment processes in addition to “scalability,” according to the announcement, which notes that clients can easily authenticate access by signing into their accounting systems via its API in a matter of “minutes.”

“Through this API integration, financial executives can take their accounting from transactional to strategic by spending less time toggling between programs, and more time making financial decisions for their business,” Bob Dowd, CEO for North America of moneycorp Americas, said in the announcement.

Clients can monitor every global payment directly in their accounting packages like Dynamics GP, Xero, NetSuite and QuickBooks via moneycorp’s pre-constructed integrations. As a result, clients can do away with typing in entries by hand. That elimination conserves time and cuts down on mistakes.

“Customers can now instantly sync data, track payments in multiple currencies, and edit beneficiary information, all in one payment ecosystem,” according to the announcement.

The news comes as moneycorp appointed David Yates, the international payments specialist, to serve as the firm’s vice chair.

“Our mission is to help our customers make more money through frictionless commerce. As a recognized thought leader in scheme, bank and off-net payments, David will help us unlock new opportunities, so we can help more customers to thrive in an increasingly global world,” Mark Horgan, CEO at moneycorp said in an April announcement.

Horgan said that Yates will bring new insights as the firm maintains its evolution and solidifies its digital-first position.

moneycorp, which was founded in the late 1970s, works with international customers throughout North America, Asia, South America, Australia and Europe, according to the API announcement.
