PSCU Appoints Two SVPs to Facilitate Growth

PSCU, a credit union service organization (CUSO), has filled two senior vice president roles, according to a Wednesday (Sept. 29) press release.

Payments and credit union (CU) industry veteran Chris Gunnare joined PSCU in 2017 as chief member experience officer and will now serve as senior vice president and chief sales officer, the release stated.

With more than 20 years of experience in the financial services industry, Yvonne Stelpflug joined PSCU in 2019 as managing vice president of account management, according to the release. In her new role, she will serve as senior vice president of Advisors Plus.

“As consumer preferences rapidly evolve, financial institutions are facing a massive transformation in payments, as well as the technology and services required to support their account holders,” said PSCU Executive Vice President and Chief Revenue Officer Scott Wagner in the release. “As PSCU continues to have remarkable success in the markets in which we operate, our teams must grow and adapt to these changing needs to propel our forward momentum.”

He added that both Gunnare and Stelpflug have been “instrumental” to the company’s growth.

Gunnare will lead the enterprise sales teams and continue advancing growth for PSCU, guiding the CUSO’s interaction with industry advisors, the release stated.

As head of PSCU’s Advisor Plus and Solutions Consulting teams, Stelpflug will work to bring new products and services to PSCU’s financial institutions to spark growth and reinforce the value of the CUSO. PSCU’s Advisors Plus was launched in 2004 and offers growth-oriented consulting services to help CUs meet financial and business goals, according to the release.

PSCU supports 1,500 CUs representing more than 5.4 billion annual transactions, the release stated. The company offers payment processing, risk management, data and analytics, loyalty programs, digital banking, marketing, strategic consulting and mobile platforms nationwide.
